About Me

I am Eddie Lover, an Italian guitarist, composer, and producer born in Prato, Italy. My passion for the guitar ignited at the age of 13 after watching a Blues concert on TV.
Before embarking on my musical journey playing blues, I began by studying classical guitar at the Giuseppe Verdi Music School, a municipal school in Prato. There, I also took courses in solfeggio and piano, which laid a solid foundation for my musical education.
Inspired by legends such as B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, and Gary Moore, I delved into the world of blues. With my band, Double Excess, I performed in various venues across Tuscany.
As my musical interests expanded, I explored alternative sounds and practiced as a music therapist. When Double Excess disbanded in 2014, I took a break from playing.
In 2022, I pursued a master’s degree in Mixing, earning certification from Steinberg under the guidance of music producer Soma, which reignited my passion for producing music.
After a seven-year hiatus from the guitar, a drummer friend invited me on stage to play a Slow Blues, and my love for music was rekindled. Since then, I have participated in Jam Sessions on the island of Fuerteventura, marking the beginning of a new musical chapter filled with new bands and collaborations.

Live & Studio

In 2022, I pursued a master’s degree in Mixing, earning certification from Steinberg under the guidance of music producer Soma, which reignited my passion for producing music. This newfound enthusiasm has led me to balance live performances with dedicated time in my recording studio.
Beyond the energy of live concerts, my studio serves as a creative hub where I immerse myself in music production. Here, I experiment with sounds, perfect techniques, and bring musical visions to life. The studio is a sanctuary where I refine my artistry, working on new projects and collaborating with other musicians.
Whether on stage or in the studio, my goal is to create profound musical experiences. Live performances offer the raw, unfiltered connection with the audience, while studio work allows for a meticulous crafting of soundscapes. This dual focus enables me to continually evolve as an artist, blending the immediacy of live music with the precision of studio production.
